I'm thrilled to share some exciting news with our Sunshine Photo Cart community that there is a plethora of new payment gateways now available! These include Mercado Pago for South America, Payfast for South Africa, Paystack for Africa, and Quickpay for Europe.
For a long time, Sunshine Photo Cart has supported the most common payment gateways like PayPal, Stripe, and Square. We also offered options like Authorize.net and Mollie. These gateways have served our users well, but I wanted to take things a step further to help offer the most payment options of any client gallery platform.
Why Add More Gateways?
Photographers around the world use Sunshine Photo Cart, and I wanted to ensure that no matter where you are, you have the payment options you need. Different regions have their preferred payment methods, and by adding these new gateways, I aim to make selling photos online more accessible and convenient for everyone.
Here is what has been added:
- Mercado Pago: Widely used across South America, Mercado Pago makes it easier for photographers in this region to get paid quickly and securely.
- Payfast: Popular in South Africa, Payfast offers local payment methods that are familiar and trusted by users.
- Paystack: Serving many African countries, Paystack provides a reliable payment solution tailored to the unique needs of this diverse continent.
- Quickpay: Based in Europe, Quickpay supports a variety of payment options, making it a versatile choice for European photographers.

By integrating these new gateways, I’m ensuring that Sunshine Photo Cart remains the most versatile and comprehensive client gallery platform available. Whether you're a photographer in Argentina, South Africa, Nigeria, or Denmark, you can now use a payment gateway that fits your needs and preferences.
